An insurance element included within Denplan provides members with worldwide dental emergency insurance, and accidental damage insurance – covering remedial work including crowns and bridges.
We chose to leave the NHS in April 2006, after more than 40 years of combined service to it, as we are firmly committed to the provision of high quality treatment, and could no longer ethically continue to work exclusively within a system which we strongly felt no longer placed the best interests of our patients’ oral health needs foremost.
New patients always see us for a full oral health needs assessment. This involves a detailed discussion of your oral health needs and aspirations, any necessary X-rays, and an explanation of treatment options, and the cost implications of all of these options. Consultations are free for Denplan registered patients. We have excellent contacts with many local specialists, and should you need a referral this will be promptly provided.
Our dental hygienist is a highly regarded team member, who attends upon a weekly basis.
A daily collection system for laboratory based items such as dentures ensures we can have work such as ‘urgent’ denture repairs done by the next day during the working week.
Denplan registered patients also have access to an out-of-hours emergency contact number, allowing them the chance to talk to one of us – not an answering service!
We offer a great variety of modern cosmetic techniques, including tooth bleaching utilising the VoCo system, a TUV tested and CE approved entirely safe product range made in Germany. We also offer veneers, white fillings and white crowns for both front and back teeth, and dentures made using high-impact acrylic resins and SR-vivodent teeth, which look extremely natural.
Walker and Morris is a family-orientated practice, and we are pleased to encourage our Denplan members to bring their children for examinations and preventive treatment. We screen all child patients for orthodontic problems, and refer promptly if needed.
